I sent my son to the nursery program in the 2010-2011 school year. It has truly been a blessing for my family. My son enjoys the program immensely and he has learned a lot in just a few months. We were lucky enough to start the program after it was changed to offer full-time and part-time sessions. The teacher, Mrs. Browne, is very dedicated and wonderful with the children. I would recommend the nursery program to parents in Brooklyn who need a place they can trust for their children with many affordable options.

My son has attended this school for 6th and 7th grade. He came from a Special Ed school for Gifted Kids in Manhattan and adjusted very well. The teachers are really amazing; they care and they respond to my inquiries. There are kids from many different countries here and they make everyone feel welcome. The school's small and nurturing environment has been a real plus for my son. And the Science Teacher is fantastic!

I am very excited that my son will be going to Shallow, the school is great, the teachers are very helpful. School isn't supposed to be fun all the time, im glad the principal isn't nice she or he shouldn't be when it comes to certain situations. Takes a lot of hard work and dedication. when you do well in school it feels great!

I am a new teacher at Seth Low, and I am very, very, very impressed with the responsiveness of the guidance counselors and the deans when there is an issue-- or even a hint-- of disruption, violence, bullying or even in-class insubordination. Many administrations I've worked under (as a sub and full-time) would rather blame teachers for not knowing how to deal with students who are openly defiant and have obvious behavioral disorders or are 'at-risk' in the extreme, rather than supply the needed services and risk being perceived as a 'problem school', but schools like are just creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. Seth Low is refreshingly conservative in this respect; they quickly nip issues in the bud with what seems like an army of support, allowing teachers to actually teach! Who'd've thought that a middle school would have the safest and most orderly environment I've ever seen in the NYC DOE?

This school is one of the best schools i have ever gone to.me myself had the thought of changing schools (which you dont have to unless your in 8 th grade) its been one of my worst desicions i think i have ever made in my life. in that school your like family.the teachers are super cool and fun and really get to know you :] i always remembered our principal telling us that we were all a family and that was true.i remembered pizza friday, after-school, trips, and lots of out door activities. :] the p.t.a. always made sure we had a good celebration if we were student of the month. it may be a small school (which is really good in my opinion) and everyone gets to know eachother very quick. the teachers are very fun and caring and get to know every child in their classroom, a shoulder to cry on, maybe even your best friend. the only thing that the children dont like is that they wear uniforms, i think its rather good so that children dont make fun of what other children wear no matter what nationality. it is a very great environment and i would really prefer to let your child attend this school. :)

This School is a great school since my daughter has been at this school since 6th Grade. Ms. Graham has been working deligently with the students to help them to succeed. There are many afterschool, summer programs. The teachers are working hard encouraging all the kids to do their verhy best. Ms. Graham supports leadership and discipline. My daughter has been a past Student Council President and his a sophomore currently. Yes this school as in all the other schools there is room for improvement and parents need to attend PTA.
