I am a Woodlands Middle School & WHS graduate from 1989 and completely enjoyed my academic, social and personal growth opportunities at Woodlands High School. The school's diversity helped me become the well-rounded person I am today, for which I am completely grateful. The wonderful teachers and mentors assisted me in all areas whenever asked without hesistation. Their excellent Senior WISE program is beyond compare and is now known the world over and I would strongly recommend that any family seriously considering moving to this area start researching that program for your child. It is the very reason for my current career choice-that which I have held in varying capacities for the last 20+ years-happily so! Overall a wonderful experience!

I agree that principal and teachers are not challenging students enough. As a parent of a 2nd grader I am concerned that if this is not addressed I will need to go elsewhere. The pacing of the curriculum seems to be more for the convenience of the teacher than my child which makes me think he is being stifled for the sake of what's easiest for the teacher. Principal needs to open up communication and solicit parent feedback so they can provide valuable input. So far maintaining status quo seems to be the mission of Highview.

The passion and commitment that the teachers have is only surpassed by their dynamic principal. The school's population is diverse, which teaches the students daily how to relate to a bigger world. The arts are alive and the students are challenged to do their best and stretch beyond it. Anyone who thinks otherwise has not stepped inside this school in years or listens to gossip. This school would benefit from greater numbers of parent involvement. The ones who are involved would welcome that.

MRHS is a great school. It's more then a school, it's a second family and I think that really impacts the way someone looks at school and how someone learns. Some teachers are very good, while others have no idea what they're doing. I don't know how anyone could be failing in MRHS unless they're in a ap/honors class, since the regular classes aren't that hard. I love MRHS and would recommend it to any girl who wants to come to a school where you don't only meet friends, but also sisters.

We have a child who has been attending Sacred Heart for the past few years. He has been very happy and loved by the school community. This is a school that truly cares about its students. The teachers are experienced and very effective at their jobs. I have friends with children in neighboring (supposedly top of the line) school districts, and from what I have seen, it is clear that the education at Sacred Heart is superior. The children graduating from this school are so well- prepared and go on to top high schools. That being said, it does not have the cut throat air of competitiveness or snobbiness of some other schools, but rather a warm and encouraging atmosphere that allows kids to thrive and build their self-confidence. Our son has also enjoyed the extra-curricular offerings and it is nice knowing that the afterschool program is so accomodating. Bottom line, this is a great school, a great community that looks out for one another, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
