Highland Elementary has worked hard in the past years to improve curriculum and communication with parents and community. Principal works hard to meet all the needs of the students. New programs such as Parent University help parents help our kids.

Caring teachers and a good philosophy of caring prevail in this school. However, music options are limited and there's been huge turnover in music faculty, much to dismay of many. Parents are very involved, a pleasure to experience. School seems to have low academic standards; students are not known for their writing skills. In general, teacher expectations are too low. Best part about the school is that the students seems to like it there.

Amazing school environment for your child. I have had children in this school for the past 13 years. This Catholic school is like an extended family and welcomes everyone even if you are not catholic. The kids learn to care for and respect each other. When my 3 year old came home from pre-k and started singing the alphabet backwards and writing her name I couldn't believe it. We love this school!
