Born, Baptized and Bred in a loving, youth oriented Church led me on a long journey to the Three Hierarchs Parochial School. From the T.H.Y. to the Sunday School to the GOYA I was nurtured in Orthodoxy. Looking for a Nursery school for my first son the doors were open at Three Hierarchs. The rest is history or her story. I served as an active, concerned parent,became a parochial school teacher and was honored to serve as Principal. My labor of love as an educator grew at Three Hierarchs. Providing my children with the best education and high standards to achieve their goals was truly remarkable. I have only the best memories during my tenure as Principal. Students greet me with their rembrances and it is wonderful. Youth is the beginning and I thank all my students and their parents for putting their trust in me, the faculty, the staff and most of all our clergy for their spiritual guidance every day. The school condition itself is always kept up. Teachers, although sometimes a little strict, are exeptional at helping us understand the assignments and lessons. The principal of the school, Mrs. McEvoy, is always looking for ways to improve the school and tears her hair out on a daily basis working on setting special events up, listening to problems among students, and keeping order in the school. This school has helped me to overcome Every problem I've come across in some way. I love this school and i tell everyone i know who has kids how proud I'm to have my son attending this amazing place, its worth every penny ! Everyone is so sweet & caring, i know because my son is sweet too & fits right in. He loves his new teachers & tells me everyday all the new things he learned that day. It breaks my heart to think that he could have had this experience sooner if only I knew about this wonderful place. Last year he attended yeshiva & didn't learn half as much (in the full year) as he learned in this school in just few months of being here. He really blossomed. The classrooms are full of hands on discoveries & very well structured (don't believe bad reviews) My only regret is that I didn't find this diamond in the rough & send him here sooner. I highly recommend it to all parents, My son is in good hands :)

I have many friends who who are successful in their careers and their lives, who attribute their success to Nefesh Academy. The school has good teachers who care that the students should succeed. There is a dual curriculum where students learn about their Jewish identity while getting an enriched general education. Almost all their graduates attend college and the many friends that I have from Nefesh Academy are professionals who are wholesome, successful people.

My daughter attends Good Shepherd School. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the teachers, staff and the principal. We have found it to be a nurturing environment. The teachers at Good Shepherd School are excellent with the children. They sincerely care about their development. We will happily be keeping our child in Good Shepherd.

My daughter went to Ms. Champagne class on 1st grade, and everyday she said to me she was in the best school of the world. She was very happy about her school and teachers as well. She also liked her principal. I'm very satisfied to find out how happy my daughter felt at PS 153.

My daughter has been attending 206 since kindergarten and has been doing extremly well. Being in the eagle and now the CIG in the 7th grade. There are times when I hear stories from my daughter that I wish some teachers would see whats going on with some kids to stop inappropriate behaviors. But overall I have very few complaints. If a child has good supervision at home and takes their work seriously and has good friends they will do well. I believe it's in the parents hands to keep a close eye on their child.

This is a wonderful school and a very nurturing academic environment. The principal is terrific and the staff are courteous and helpful. The parent/teacher coordinator at the school is a particularly valuable asset and source of information and assistance.

Ps. 255 was a saving grace for my son. The school treats ALL of their students, including those with IEPs, with respect and attention to their needs. Thanks to them he has flourished, and I will be heartsick in June when he graduates! The principal and staff are wonderful, and they have an active Parents Association which involves all parents (if the parents are willing to be involved).

An amazing school with an amazing staff. Kids are exceptionally happy and the school is under control. My daughter wakes up every day and can't wait to go to school. It is a family atmosphere with community pride.
