Recently purchased MSL is now called Kid Esteem Montessori School. The school is run by Marianne & Lee Chasen, certified teachers and licensed creative arts therapists. They promote social and emotional learning in addition to the NY Standard Math, Spelling, Social Studies, ect. Each child feels special as soon as they walk in the door. What a great school. We LOVE it... Please check it out. It is really worth the investment in your children development as student and as part of our community. The best kept secret in Long Island NO MORE. This is simply the best. The dedication to the individual child is amazing. We just start at this school year 2011-2012 year & we have not been disappointed. I have a 6yr child that love to go to school and is excited to going to the 2nd grade at Kid Esteem Montessori. That kind of request speaks volumes. We are so happy with this school and feel this is one of the best schools on Long Island. We are grateful we found it.

Attending OLPH is awesome. I have made a ton of friends that I know will always be there for me. While I have never enjoyed the homework I am assinged there is usually a reasonable amount that always helps us all to better understand our material. All the teachers are just awesom and I know I will be able to get into any high school I would like to with their help and support. Our daily prayers help us grow closer to God and the saints. At OLPH t is not very big but that lets us know eachother better and become like a second family.

The majority of the teachers are excellent. Class placement is a problem,e.g. Too many problem children in one classroom, they should be divided amongst the four classrooms. The students that want to learn are be left on their own, bwcause all the teacher's attention is going to the 'too many problem' children.

My daughter had to transfer mid yr during Kindergarten. I was nervous for her but the principal and the teacher made the transition such a smooth one with their warm welcome to the new school. It didn't take long for my daughter to fit in. She quickly caught up to speed and thanks to her experience, now she loves school.

The school is great I have not complaints at all about it. The staff and teachers are very friendly and knowlegable.

Harding ave is a great school....the teachers and staff is excellent.

Its the greatest school Ive ever seen .. So clean, and the teachers are great ! No district could ever match lindenhurst. They stick togather through thick and thin.

The Lindenhurst School System is one of the Best Kept SECRETS on Long Island. The Schools ( K - thru High School ) are Above Standard.They Produce an Excellent Product - Their Students are Very Productive in Life. Both my son and daughter are sucessful..The Lindenhurst School System forms a bond with the Parents, to monitor the childs progress.Clean and Maintained buildings, School Sports and after school activities are at a high level. All this from a Middle Class Base.

Excellent school. Very progressive. Parent Association leaders tend to be full of themselves and act as if everyone has unlimited resources.
