VCS is a wonderful progressive school. It is very down-to-earth and rooted in solid values in a city that can be too materialistic and flighty. The academics are solid, the kids are kind and confident, and the school turns out true critical thinkers with a sense of who they are, what they want and the skills to achieve their goals. My one complaint is that the arts program is not particularly strong. The music program is very weak, there is no dance, and the visual arts could be better. Outside instruction is probably advisable. Other than this, a really great school.

I absolutely loved this school! I graduated this past June and I can honestly say my experience was beyond amazing. The small school community allows for a very family like environment. The teachers love what they do and care for every single student. They honestly go above and beyond to ensure that the students succeed in their classes. They know every student by name and make you feel like you're more then just a student. They want you to learn. There are lots of after school activities to participate in. I was personally member of the Spirit Squad for four years, the running club, and the student actor training institute. The councelling department was incredibly helpful and got to know each student on a personal level. I highly recommend this school to all girls. Our school's motto is "chez nous", meaning "our home" in French. Despite the fact that I've graduated, I know this will always be my home and I will always have my Chez Nous Sisters.

This is an excellent institution. We moved to the USA with our 2 children from overseas on a three year contract and linked up with OLP through the net. The Principal Sister Maureen is an excellent administrator and we have had two very good teachers for our children particularly Sister Jean Marie in Grade 2 . Unfortunately she is leaving. Yes the extracuricular activities are limited but we are very happy with their insistance on a CATHOLIC education and travel 20 miles a day to get our kids to school.
